Ay, Ay, AI! What’s Going On with ChatGPT and Generative AI?

Participants will gain understanding of how to manipulate generative AI for greatest impact. This broad overview will encompass tools like ChatGPT and Midjourney, and also specific tools for specific purposes, such as Scite. Participants will explore the opportunities and challenges around generative AI and possible future applications for learning and teaching not only in higher education, but also in the k-12 arena as well as the role libraries and librarians can play in support of these tools. Participants will have access to resources for further discovery and use.
