The effects of early adjustment upon escape from Seagoville, Federal Correctional Institute, Texas

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the adjustment potential of escapees and non-escapees from Seagoville, Federal Correctional Institute, in order to determine whether adjustment was a significant factor in differentiating the escapee group from the control group. This study was implemented by investigating variables comprising three specific areas: life history, case history and personality characteristics.
