Supplying Law Enforcement with Narcan

There is a huge push in the nation over the last decade with the increase in illicit drug use. Many illicit drugs are being abused but the one in which is taking America by storm would be opiates. Opiates come in many different forms from prescription medication to heroin to a fairly new phenomena synthetic opiate called fentanyl. The problem with fentanyl is that its potency is 50-100 times more potent than others. With that and the increased number of overdoses across America that law enforcement is having to respond to and deal with, agencies should equip its officer with Internasal Naloxone or Narcan. By equipping officer with this amazing drug, it can assist them in case of accidently overdoses but also allows the officers to save lives.
